“It is frightfully difficult to know much about the fairies, and almost the only thing for certain is that there are fairies wherever there are children.”

J.M. Barrie

Yep, another year is flying by and once again my eldest daughter's birthday is coming up. Though unlike last year's fantastic birthday celebration, this year we plan to keep it simple. So simple in fact, a chocolate cake, a candle, and family will just have to do.

This doesn't mean I won't share last year's "Fairy Party" ideas with you, just for inspiration. Enjoy the creation process, I sure did!

Cheers ~ Lorena

Fairy garden houses

I made tons of fairy garden houses out of clay. It was so much fun playing with clay! I painted each piece with acrylic paint. Make sure the pieces are dry.

I also made fairy furniture out of wood. I have to thank who ever invented the hot glue gun!

The invitations were done on Word and then printed in grayscale.

Party favors and decoration

I went gaga over crepe paper flowers. So I decided to make them too. Check out Martha Stewart's paper flowers tutorial. Just perfect!

Planting their fairy garden

The owner of my favorite café loves to garden, so she taught the girls how to plant.

Thanks to our favorite gardener! I'm sure it was a memorable experience for the girls.
